Fold all four corners to the center line.
-
4
Reverse the corner folds you've just made to crease, then return to the original fold.
-
5
Fold the 2 triangular ends toward the center (you'll end up with a rectangle) to crease, then unfold.
-
6
Flatten out the corner triangles.
-
7
Repeat for the other three corners.
-
8
Fold the model in half vertically with the triangles on the outside.
-
9
Fold the inside of the triangle in half so it points down to create the feet.
-
10
Repeat for all four triangles, front and back.
-
11
Fold the left triangular end on itself (to the edge of the foot) and unfold.
-
12
Then open it up and turn your last fold inside out.
-
13
Get the point from inside this fold and fold it back out again.
-
14
Fold the point at the other end, not to the edge but slightly above it.
-
15
Unfold, open it out, and then reverse the crease.
-
16
Stand the pig up. All done.

You can try using thicker paper to make it, but it will be difficult, because the thicker the paper is, the harder it will be to fold.

You could draw eyes or other facial features, but other than that, there isn't really a way to fold it more distinctly.

Question
How do I make the tail longer?
Butterfly
Community Answer
To make the pig's tail longer, take another small sheet of paper (preferably, of the same colour) and cut it to the length of the tail you want. Then, simply stick it onto the actual tail, which it already has (the one you would call "short").
